Watt is a macOS desktop app that gives your AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, OpenClaw, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible tool) real capabilities for YouTube content creation.
On its own, your AI agent is smart but blind. It can reason and write, but it can’t see your channel analytics, track competitors, transcribe videos, or know what’s trending in your niche. Watt fixes that.
How it works
Watt runs locally on your Mac as a private gateway. When you ask your agent a question, it calls Watt for the data it needs: YouTube stats, transcriptions, competitor snapshots. It uses that to give you a real, grounded answer.
All processing happens on your Mac. Your API keys stay in macOS Keychain. No data is sent to any cloud service.

Getting started
Follow these steps to go from download to your first agent query:

- Set up authentication for YouTube access (optional)
- Install extensions for the capabilities you want
